Tabby. A coat pattern, not a breed — look for the "M" marking on the forehead.

Frequently asked questions
Is Purrview free to use?
Yes — every guide, calculator and chart on Purrview is free, with no account required. Tools run entirely in your browser; no data is sent to a server.
Are the health and nutrition facts reviewed by a vet?
Health, nutrition and toxicity pages are checked by a veterinary professional before publication. Each page shows the review date. For authoritative veterinary guidance we also refer to sources such as WSAVA Global Nutrition Guidelines and International Cat Care.
How do I find guides by my cat's life stage?
Open the Guides page and use the life-stage filter pills — Kitten, Young adult, Mature adult, or Senior. The guide grid updates instantly.
How accurate are the calorie and age calculators?
The calorie calculator uses the resting energy requirement formula (70 × kg0.75) with life-stage multipliers from WSAVA guidelines. The age calculator uses the conversion scale published by PLOS ONE (2020). Both are estimates — confirm amounts with your vet.
Can I use Purrview to diagnose my cat?
No. Purrview explains general cat care in plain language but cannot replace an examination by a registered veterinary surgeon. If your cat is unwell, call your vet. See our guide on signs it is time to call the vet.
How often is the site updated?
New guides and tools are added regularly. All updates are listed on the News page and in the changelog. Pages show their last review date.
